Testimonials

Here is a testimonial from someone who put her own twist on the story of this piece. I never actually met the girl that inspired the piece Stephanie talks about being my lover. She is my muse. The first of 7 muses and the only one I haven’t seen in person. The piece is called “You have my ART” because she inspired me in a way I had never experienced with anyone previously. Sometimes we hear what we need to hear as a way to feel connected to something. Everything else is very true about this piece. The dynamic between my muse and I is the only difference. I am so very honored to have connected in such a way that inspired these words. Thank you Stephanie

It is clear that Aida is an artist. This is an obvious fact to anyone who has seen her work. It is WHO she is however, and not merely what she does, that puts her in her best light. I asked Aida to explain the piece on her business card to me in our first meeting together and was absolutely MOVED by what she said. She began by saying that it was a "self portrait". Looking at the small person crouched down, I was perplexed. This didn't look anything like the woman sitting in front of me; but as she continued to speak, I looked closer. Small physical signs began to correlate... and then Aida told me who it was. The piece was a VERSION of herself in a strange and scary place - in that vulnerable place in love where many of us have been closed, shut off, and charactertures of who we think our lovers desire us to be. The piece was Aida-the-Great then taking a huge evolutionary step along her journey and waving a white flag inside of herself; surrendering and GIVING her lover the greatest gift - the TRUTH of who she is. Aida was willingly giving her lover her HEART which to her, is synonymous with her ART. What a beautiful and huge moment that was for both of them. NOW, when I look at Aida's piece, I am reminded of stages in my own life when I did not entirely put my own truth and heart out - fearlessly. I am reminded of that which I know to be true: "Being fearless in showing the world who we are, is the direct path to our life purpose."

Thank you for this reminder through this piece Aida. Please continue to tell us "who your pieces are" so that they may heal and inspire.

All my heart, Stephanie Hills - Life Coach to Artists
